Three new therapists have joined us
We’re pleased to introduce three new members of the clinic: Elena Mullen, Miranda Mukando, and Liz Ryan. Each brings a distinct presence to the clinic, shaped by her own trajectory into psychotherapy.
Elena Mullen
MSc, BA, Cert, IACP
Elena is an accredited psychotherapist with extensive training in Gestalt therapy. Originally from the Republic of Moldova, she holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Psychopedagogy, Psychology, and Speech Therapy.
Elena has worked in both private practice and organisational settings since 2019. She completed a six-year specialist training in Gestalt Psychotherapy with further studies in working with couples, trauma, family systems, and body processes.
Elena works with couples, and brings a grounded, integrative approach to relational and emotional difficulties.
Miranda Mukando
SMT, MSc, HDip, BA, APPI
Miranda is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a Master of Science in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapy from University College Dublin. She has completed further post-master’s training in the Specific Modality of Psychoanalysis through the School of Psychotherapy at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Her work is rooted in the Freudian and Lacanian tradition, with a focus on the symptom as a meaningful formation. With over a decade of experience in social care and mental health services, Miranda offers a space for clients to speak freely and reflect deeply on the patterns shaping their lives. She welcomes both short- and long-term therapeutic work.
Liz Ryan
MSc, SMT, APPI, ICP
Liz is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and a fully accredited member of both APPI and ICP. She holds a Master’s degree from the UCD School of Medicine, followed by two years of Specific Modality Training with the School of Psychotherapy at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2020, Liz has maintained a deep engagement with Lacanian theory and the wider psychoanalytic field through ongoing analysis, supervision, reading cartels, and clinical seminars. Her work offers a serious and sustaining space for anyone seeking to explore their psychic life and its impasses.
With the addition of Elena, Miranda, and Liz, we continue to affirm our commitment to a clinic shaped by difference—one where varied orientations and training paths make it possible for more people to find a form of care that fits. We are very pleased to welcome them to the Other clinic.
